NFL Career

Greer first played for one season with the Cleveland Browns, before being traded with the San Francisco 49ers. In both Super Bowl XXIII and Super Bowl XXIV, he and the 49ers won, playing with both Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. Finally, he ended his career with the Detroit Lions for a portion of the 1990 NFL Season. He then retired during the middle of the season.
