Terrorism in Uganda

Terrorism in Uganda is primarily located in the north where the Lord's Resistance Army, a militant religious cult that seeks to overthrow the government, has attacked villages and forcibly conscripted children into the organization since 1988. Somalia's Al Shabbab have also staged attacks in the country in response to Ugandan support for the African Union's AMISOM.
