In June 2000, the TAC Program was selected as one of 20 international finalists in the Education Category of the Stockholm Challenge. In October 2000, the TAC Program received the Governor's Technology Award in the Higher Education category. In October 2001, the program received the annual Educause Systemic Progress in Teaching and Learning Award. The Educause Award articulates in a very clear way the essential elements of the TAC program:
