Spike Unleashed was created in 2007 to fill in for either Avenger or Brutus, and was usually put on the Brutus chassis. When new Avenger and Brutus trucks were made in 2008, Spike Unleashed and Wrecking Crew became a team and travel with Avenger and Brutus. In 2008 Spike Unleashed was included on the new videogame Monster Jam: Urban Assault along with Avenger.
