The current dean of the school is Dr. Steven Schreiner, who received the post in 2008. The mechanical engineering department is chaired by Professor Bijan Sepahpour, the electrical and computer engineering departments are chaired by Dr. Orlando Hernandez, and the civil engineering department is chaired by Dr. Michael Horst. Within the engineering science program, the biomedical engineering specialization is coordinated by Dr. Connie Hall. The department of Technological Studies is chaired by Dr. John Karsnitz.
