Tata Interactive Systems - Project Methodology

Project Methodology

  • TIS adopts structured workflow processes (ADDIE – an acronym for Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) that define the teams roles and the scope of the work at every stage of its projects.
  • It provides three channels of communication corresponding to the communication objective, viz., day-to-day project communication; study of project requirements; and escalation mechanism in case of critical issues.
  • Typical project teams comprise clients’ stakeholders and TIS’s sales teams, Instructional Design (ID) strategists, and Practice Heads who are involved in the Analysis and Consulting phase. This is followed by Ideation and Design, which involves ID, Content, Technology, and Graphics teams. Development and Review is then performed by Subject Matter Experts and Project/Program Managers. The Management and Deployment/Rollout is done by Program Managers. Evaluation and Feedback cycles feed back into the Analysis phase as inputs and/or learnings.

Famous quotes containing the words project and/or methodology:

In 1869 he started his work for temperance instigated by three drunken men who came to his home with a paper signed by a saloonkeeper and his patrons on which was written “For God’s sake organize a temperance society.”
—Federal Writers’ Project Of The Wor, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)

One might get the impression that I recommend a new methodology which replaces induction by counterinduction and uses a multiplicity of theories, metaphysical views, fairy tales, instead of the customary pair theory/observation. This impression would certainly be mistaken. My intention is not to replace one set of general rules by another such set: my intention is rather to convince the reader that all methodologies, even the most obvious ones, have their limits.
    Paul Feyerabend (1924–1994)
