Porul ilakkanam(Tamil:பொருள் இலக்கணம்) is one of the five types of Tamil grammar. It gives the meaning of parts of life.
There are two types of porul ilakkanam, namely internal porul and external porul. Internal porul explains emotions, love, romance and external porul explains heroism, war, victory, donation.
