Tales of The Abyss - Music

Music

Tales of the Abyss's soundtrack was mostly composed by Motoi Sakuraba and Shinji Tamura, though a few songs were also composed by Motoo Fujiwara, the lead vocalist of the Japanese band Bump of Chicken. The songs composed by him are on the album "Song for Tales of the Abyss". Bump of Chicken also performed the game's opening song, Karma. Different versions of the song are used throughout the game. Tear's Grand Fonic Hymns that she frequently sings, Fuka, are sung by Yukana.

Like past localizations of Tales games, the opening song was replaced by another track. Instead of a completely different song, however, the game uses a new instrumental version of Karma.

Famous quotes containing the word music:

I used to be angry all the time and I’d sit there weaving my anger. Now I’m not angry. I sit there hearing the sounds outside, the sounds in the room, the sounds of the treadles and heddles—a music of my own making.
    Bhakti Ziek (b. c. 1946)

And in the next instant, immediately behind them, Victor saw his former wife.
At once he lowered his gaze, automatically tapping his cigarette to dislodge the ash that had not yet had time to form. From somewhere low down his heart rose like a fist to deliver an uppercut, drew back, struck again, then went into a fast disorderly throb, contradicting the music and drowning it.
    Vladimir Nabokov (1899–1977)

Your remark that clams will lie quiet if music be played to them, was superfluous—entirely superfluous.
Mark Twain [Samuel Langhorne Clemens] (1835–1910)
