  • Abalak Department
  • Madoua Department
  • Tahoua Department
  • Tchin-Tabaraden Department

Tahoua has the following foreign borders:

  • Sokoto State, Nigeria - south
  • Gao Region, Mali - northwest
  • Kidal Region, Mali - far northwest

Domestically, it borders the following Regions:

  • Agadez Region - northeast
  • Maradi Region - southeast
  • Dosso Region - southwest
  • TillabĂ©ri Region - west
