Style and Influences
Syu's style of playing has been likened to that of Yngwie Malmsteen and many neo-classical guitarists. Syu himself lists some of his influences as: Kyoji Yamamoto, John Petrucci, Ulrich Roth, Paul Gilbert and Michael Schenker. He has also stated that hide and X influenced him greatly.
