Legacy
Melodies that originated in East-Syriac Rite and West-Syriac Rite rites in the Middle East have survived in Kerala. Examples of a few melodies from the Chaldean liturgy of the Syro-Malabar Church can be found in the work Qambel Maran: Syriac Chants from South India by Joseph J. Palackal.
