History
The airline had been founded in 1984 as Servair Private Charter AG and was acquired by Swiss International Air Lines and renamed to Swiss Private Aviation on 17 July 2008. From February 2011, Swiss Private Aviation ceased to operate as a result of internal reconstruction. The company recommended Lufthansa Private Jet Service as a succedaneum.
