Sutherland Seahawks

The Sutherland Seahawks are a gridiron football club competing in the Gridiron NSW league. The club was formed by Terry Johnston in 1987 and has competed continuously since then in the NSW competition. The Seahawks first fielded a Colts team in 1996.

The club has won Championships in 1989 (AA), 1992 (AA), 1997, 2000 and 2001 in the senior league and 2003, 2004, 2005 2006 and 2010 in the Colts league.

The Sutherland Seahawks are active in sending players overseas to play college football in the USA having placed two players at Division One colleges. Adrian Thomas at the University of Hawaii 2006-2010 and Blake Muir 2011–present.
