Athletics
The Sussex County Technical School Mustangs participate in the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference, following a reorganization of sports leagues in Northern New Jersey by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA). The school is categorized by the NJSIAA as North I, Group II.
- Fall: Football, Boys' Soccer, Girls' Soccer, Cross-Country (Boys' & Girls'), Cheerleading, and Girls' Tennis.
- Winter: Boys' Basketball, Girls' Basketball, Cheerleading, Bowling (Boys' & Girls'), and Snowboard/ Ski Club.
- Spring: Track and Field (Boys' & Girls'), Baseball,and Softball.
