Sushama Reddy studied at the Bombay Scottish School, Mahim and graduated in Economics from Mithibai College, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She completed filmmaking course from NYFA, New York in United States. She has two sisters including Sameera Reddy who is a famous Bollywood actress.
