Survivor Philippines: Palau - The Game

The Game

Cycles in this article refer to the three-day periods in the game (unless indicated), composed of at least the Immunity Challenge and the subsequent Tribal Council. Except on the first cycle, every cycle begins at the end of the previous Tribal Council. So any events that occurred after a Tribal Council will be chronicled in the next cycle. The column "Isla Purgatoryo" includes those castaways who are technically voted out of the game pre-merge. In Cycle 2, there is only one name, that of the first cast-off. In the succeeding cycles until the merge, the next cast-off (2nd column) would compete with the current inhabitant (1st column) in a "Face-off Challenge" for the right to stay in the island and in the game. The loser (3rd column) is then completely eliminated from the game.

In the case of multiple tribes or people who win reward or immunity, they are listed in order of finish, or alphabetically where it was a team effort; where one player won and invited others, the invitees are in brackets.

* The castaway obtained immunity through the immunity bracelet given by the winning tribe of the Immunity Challenge.
** An additional reward was given to the winning tribe(s).
^C1 Isla Purgatoryo was not yet introduced.
^C2 Isla Purgatoryo introduced; Justine becomes first inhabitant.
^C3 Vlad quit the game even before a face-off challenge could occur.
^C4 The tribes were temporarily mixed up, where the Orange Team comprised the Favorites in each tribe (Cris, Charles and Mika for Airai; Echo, Marvin and Suzuki for Koror) and the Green Team, the Least liked (Louie, Tara and Troy for Airai; Amanda, Jef and Shaun for Koror).
^C5 There was no reward challenge because of the merge.
^C6 Justine obtained immunity through the immunity bracelet she won in the final face-off challenge.
^C7 Justine obtained immunity by placing second in the immunity challenge. She received a scroll that signified her immunity through the Immunity Necklace, passing it to her from Suzuki.
^C8 Shaun won the monetary reward alone, but shared his physical reward with Justine.
^C9 Amanda won immunity alone, but shared her reward to Mika.
^C10 Charles won the challenge, but gave immunity to Justine in exchange for an alternate prize, which was a condominium unit.

Famous quotes containing the word game:

The savage soul of game is up at once—
The pack full-opening various, the shrill horn
Resounded from the hills, the neighing steed
Wild for the chase, and the loud hunter’s shout—
O’er a weak, harmless, flying creature, all
Mixed in mad tumult and discordant joy.
    James Thomson (1700–1748)

Even an attorney of moderate talent can postpone doomsday year after year, for the system of appeals that pervades American jurisprudence amounts to a legalistic wheel of fortune, a game of chance, somewhat fixed in the favor of the criminal, that the participants play interminably.
    Truman Capote (1924–1984)
