Surviving Antarctica: Reality TV 2083 - Title

Title

Surviving Antarctica was originally published as No Child's Game: Reality TV 2083. Harper Collins called the author and told her that teens and pre-teens (the age group the novel was directed to) would be less likely to buy if the title had "child" in its title. It was then changed to Surviving Antarctica: Reality TV 2083. Scholastic bought is as the original title, then they ended up selling it, after another publisher bought as No Child's Game, as Surviving Antarctica: Reality TV 2083. Even if the titles are different, the story and words are the same.

Which the proud soul ne’er pays but to the proud.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

To revolutionize, at one effort, the universal world of human thought, human opinion, and human sentiment.... All that he has to do is to write and publish a very little book. Its title should be simple—a few plain words—”My Heart Laid Bare.” But—this little book must be true to its title.

Fifty million Frenchmen can’t be wrong.
    —Anonymous. Popular saying.

Dating from World War I—when it was used by U.S. soldiers—or before, the saying was associated with nightclub hostess Texas Quinan in the 1920s. It was the title of a song recorded by Sophie Tucker in 1927, and of a Cole Porter musical in 1929.
