Summer Repertory Theatre
Summer Repertory Theater (SRT) is a complete and extensive practicum in Santa Rosa, California at Santa Rosa Junior College in Sonoma County (California), California's Wine Country (California). It is a member of North Bay Theatre Group and Theatre Communications Group. SRT, located in the heart of the Sonoma County wine country, one hour north of San Francisco and forty-five minutes east of the beautiful Northern California coast is a well organized professional training program and theatre.
SRT was founded in 1972, by Frank J. Zwolinski Jr and is currently led by Artistic Director James Newman. The renowned 11-week theatre program draws statewide participation in a professionally advanced summer theatre and produces over 90 performances of five plays in full rotating repertory. Summer participants include music students, designers, directors and many other creative people from across the U.S.
