Sulfur Monoxide - Safety Measures

Safety Measures

Because of Sulphur Monoxide's rare occurrence in our atmosphere and poor stability; it is difficult to fully determine its hazards. But when condensed and compacted it does form Disulfur Dioxide which is relatively toxic and corrosive. This compound is also highly flammable (similar flammability to methane) and when burned produces Sulphur Dioxide, a poisonous gas.

Famous quotes containing the words safety and/or measures:

Love no man in good earnest, nor no further in sport
neither, than with safety of a pure blush thou mayst in
    honor come off again.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

However much we may differ in the choice of the measures which should guide the administration of the government, there can be but little doubt in the minds of those who are really friendly to the republican features of our system that one of its most important securities consists in the separation of the legislative and executive powers at the same time that each is acknowledged to be supreme, in the will of the people constitutionally expressed.
    Andrew Jackson (1767–1845)
