Numerous and various unions and clubs are functioning within the university those are organized and managed by students. All students have options to choose various clubs and student-run organisations to participate in.
These motivating practices give students vast opportunities for their self-development, in which they share ideas, suggestions and other knowledge. Moreover, activities of students in such kinds of social communities definitely improve their leadership skills, communication capabilities, academic qualifications and adapt them to team-working settings that are vital in their further professional development. Moreover, SDU students actively participate in social events, which are organized among the higher institutions. Some students even had chances to take parts in international intellectual competitions and returned with excellent, laudable results and prizes.
