Famous quotes containing the word judgment:
“I began to realize that it was bigotry of the worst kind to say that its better to be dead than to be born retarded or blind or without a limb. Its a value judgment youre making about someones life, based on their degree of perfection.”
—Juli Loesch (b. c. 1953)
“I am absent altogether too much to be a suitable instructor for a law-student. When a man has reached the age that Mr. Widner has, and has already been doing for himself, my judgment is, that he reads the books for himself without an instructor. That is precisely the way I came to the law.”
—Abraham Lincoln (18091865)
“If you were born to honor, show it now;
If put upon you, make the judgment good
That thought you worthy of it.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
