History

The North Stars jumped from juvenile with the Coniston Flyers and Nickel Centre Native Sons to Junior B in 1976.

In 1978, they were promoted to Jr. A as members of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.

In 1993, the Cubs left the NOJHL, because their coach for many years, Jim Kennedy, was moving south and the team decided they did not want an other coach.

Famous quotes containing the word history:

What would we not give for some great poem to read now, which would be in harmony with the scenery,—for if men read aright, methinks they would never read anything but poems. No history nor philosophy can supply their place.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
