Football is the most popular sports in Nepal. and was first played during the Rana dynasty in 1921. Despite the popularity and years of playing the game, Football in Nepal has still a long way to go.
Also, Cricket has been gaining popularity since the last decade as it continues to progress in the world scene. Cricket in Nepal is doing better than football as Nepal cricket team recently won 2012 ICC World Cricket League Division Four and will be playing in 2013 ICC World Cricket League Division Three.
