Students For America

Students For America is a student network supporting the “America First” dialogue for all military, national security, foreign policy and diplomacy imperatives.

Students for America (former organization) was a political action committee founded by Ralph Reed in 1984. Intended as a national organization, Students for America largely confined its activities to supporting the reelection of United States Senator Jesse Helms and organizing abortion clinic protests. It had faded out of existence by the early 1990s.

Famous quotes containing the words students for, students and/or america:

Women, because of their colonial relationship to men, have to fight for their own independence. This fight for our own independence will lead to the growth and development of the revolutionary movement in this country. Only the independent woman can be truly effective in the larger revolutionary struggle.

I do not share the gloomy thought that Negroes in America are doomed to be stomped out bodaciously, nor even shackled to the bottom of things. Of course some of them will be tromped out, and some will always be at the bottom, keeping company with other bottom-folks.
    Zora Neale Hurston (1891–1960)
