1. Major James Matthew Stronge (21 June 1932 – 21 January 1981) Unproven, son of Sir Norman.

The baronetcy became dormant on the death of Sir Norman. It may be devolved on supplication from;

• James Anselan Maxwell Stronge (17 July 1946 – present) He is the son of Maxwell du Pré James Stronge and grandson of Edward Owen Fortescue Stronge, a brother of the 7th Baronet. Should he wish James Stronge could provide evidence of his claim to the keeper of the Roll of Baronetage and have the baronetcy conferred upon him.
