Playing Career
Giatzoglou played college basketball at the University of Connecticut under the name of Steve Young. His pro career was noted for his success with the Greek club Olympiacos Piraeus. With Olympiacos, he had a great career and is considered today to be one of the best players in the club's history. He won 2 Greek Championships and 4 Greek Cups with Olympiacos, while playing alongside fellow Olympiacos star Giorgos Kastrinakis.
