Steve Fletcher - Style of Play

Style of Play

Since beginning his professional career, Fletcher has been used predominantly as a target man, using his height and strength to unsettle defences, win headers, receive passes and keep possession while team-mates advance towards the opposition goal. During his Bournemouth career, he formed several prolific partnerships with that sort of player, such as James Hayter, Mark Stein, Jermain Defoe and Brett Pitman.
