Stephen Sizer is a conservative evangelical and has aligned with a number of related organisations. He is a member of Reform (Anglican), Anglican Mainstream, and the Church Society. He has endorsed the Jerusalem Declaration issued by the Global Anglican Future Conference and has joined the resulting Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans. He supports the Third Province Movement.
In 2004, Sizer adapted his PhD thesis into a book, Christian Zionism - Road Map to Armageddon?. He claims that Christian Zionism infused with the neoconservative political ideology has led millions of Christians astray and helped to tip the world on its side heavy with military artillery.
Sizer argues that Christian Zionism has no biblical foundation or historical precedent. He writes that his motivation lies in the conviction that ignoring or stereotyping Palestinian Christians is a contradiction of faith and immoral before God. He suggests that it is irresponsible to believe that God will bless Christians materially if they support the largely secular State of Israel."
Sizer has shared a platform with Neturei Karta, a radically anti-Zionist Jewish organisation apart from mainstream Judaism which has allegedly condoned Palestinian political violence against Israelis.

Famous quotes containing the words views and, views and/or opinions:
“Parents must begin to discover their children as individuals of developing tastes and views and so help them be, and see, themselves as thinking, feeling people. It is far too easy for a middle-years child to absorb an over-simplified picture of himself as a sloppy, unreliable, careless, irresponsible, lazy creature and not much morean attitude toward himself he will carry far beyond these years.”
—Dorothy H. Cohen (20th century)
“A foreign minister, I will maintain it, can never be a good man of business if he is not an agreeable man of pleasure too. Half his business is done by the help of his pleasures: his views are carried on, and perhaps best, and most unsuspectedly, at balls, suppers, assemblies, and parties of pleasure; by intrigues with women, and connections insensibly formed with men, at those unguarded hours of amusement.”
—Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl Chesterfield (16941773)
“The view that honesty is something, and even a virtue, belongs, it is true, to those private opinions which are forbidden in this age of public opinions.”
—Friedrich Nietzsche (18441900)
