Adult Life

After his fathers stroke, Stephen took over his fathers business and made it a success. Later he become a part of the orem city council. He is currently a member of the Utah house of representatives. When health care reform become a big issue, Stephen became the Co-founder of the Patrick Henry Caucus which is now in over 30 states across the United States. This caucus is designed to fight government over-spending.

In his career as a Utah representative, Stephen has been a strong proponent of public education and has a record of fighting against gambling and identity theft.

In 2011 Bob Lonsberry called into question the legitimacy of Sandstrom's biography during his radio show on KLO1430 AM. He noted that while technically accurate, Sandstrom's history was presented out of context in what appeared to be an attempt to enhance his resume.

Famous quotes containing the words adult life, adult and/or life:

    For most of my adult life, I have been an emotional hit-and- run driver—that is, a reporter. I made people like me, trust me, open their hearts and their minds to me, and cry and bleed on to the pages of my neat little notebooks, and then I went back to a safe place and made a story out of it.
    Anna Quindlen (b. 1952)

    They are not callow like the young of most birds, but more perfectly developed and precocious even than chickens. The remarkably adult yet innocent expression of their open and serene eyes is very memorable. All intelligence seems reflected in them. They suggest not merely the purity of infancy, but a wisdom clarified by experience. Such an eye was not born when the bird was, but is coeval with the sky it reflects. The woods do not yield another such a gem.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

    Thy fate is the common fate of all;
    Into each life some rain must fall.
    Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807–1882)
