Llangennech AFC
Before joining Llanelli Cook emerged from the Llangennech AFC youth system. He also won praise whilst captaining Coleg Sir Gar football academy.
He then had a spell at Ammanford Town in the Welsh League which ended when Steffan inspired the team to avoid relegation before following his heart back to Llangennech where he took over the captaincy and won a players' player of the year award as well as a player of the year award in the three years since his return.
He has proven himself to be a solid defender whilst comfortable on the ball at the heart of the defence, having formed a quite formidable partnership with 'Mogs' in the Carmarthenshire First Division, with Cook having captained the club to two promotions in three years as the club currently pushes for a further promotion to the Premier League.
There are rumours linking Cook to numerous Carmarthenshire Premier League teams such as Dafen AFC, Evans and Williams as well as links to a Welsh League return with Ammanford.
