Steen Hildebrandt

Steen Hildebrandt (born in 1944) is a Danish academic and renowned author on business, organizational theory and management. He is Professor of Management Studies at Aarhus School of Business, University of Aarhus. His focus is on the topics of management, Human Resource Management (HRM) and business strategy. He also teaches at the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

He is well known for his participation in the Danish debate on the social and organizational challenges of the Information Age and the role of management in the shift away from the production of physical goods (as exemplified by the industrial age) and towards the production of information and the importance of political consumerism. Steen Hildebrandt emphazises the importance of the social and ethical profile of organizations and enterprises, and he has focused on the introduction of spirituality and religion into the field of modern professional management.
