Reception
Most versions of the game received mixed reviews by the media. For example, IGN rated the PS2 version 4.5 out of ten. They criticised the camera, the combo-system, the graphics, level design, AI, and most specifically, the implementation of the combat-based gameplay.
GameSpy gave the game a better review, awarding the PS2 version 4 out of 5. GameSpot rated all versions of the game 6.3 out of 10.
