From March 2003, Star Search 2003 began its 3-nation-wide talent search for individuals with star potential in Singapore, Malaysia and China. Auditions have been carried out in each of the 3 countries and training for the shortlisted star wannabes are ongoing. Each of the 3 countries will then select 4 Star Search contestants (2 male, 2 female) to compete at the Grand Finals on June 29 in Singapore.
