The headquarters of CPME are situated in Brussels, Belgium. CPME has 4 subcommittees which are responsible for preparing its policies:
- Medical training, continuing professional development and quality improvement
- Medical ethics and professional codes
- Organisation of health care, social security, health economics and pharmaceutical industry
- Public Health, Prevention and environment
