International Career
Long captained the England U16 side in 2000, and represented his country at various youth levels. Long was named in the England C team, who represent England at non-League level, in February 2007, for a friendly against Northern Ireland C side. He came on as a substitute in the game, which ended 3–1 in Northern Ireland's favour.
