The Church Today
Per its roots, St. Luke's maintains an active youth ministry and choir. It also hosts a local Alcoholics Anonymous chapter, and is a charter sponsor of a local Boy Scout troop. The church also has strong ties to The Children's Villa, a home for orphaned and abandoned children in Amistad, Bolivia.

Famous quotes containing the words church and/or today:
“At bottom, I mean profoundly at bottom, the FBI has nothing to do with Communism, it has nothing to do with catching criminals, it has nothing to do with the Mafia, the syndicate, it has nothing to do with trust-busting, it has nothing to do with interstate commerce, it has nothing to do with anything but serving as a church for the mediocre. A high church for the true mediocre.”
—Norman Mailer (b. 1923)
““Revolution” today is taken for granted, and in consequence becomes rather dull.”
—Wyndham Lewis (1882–1957)
