2010
In 2010, the band had another extremely successful season, with a 4th at the Scottish Championships and a 3rd at the British Championships. They won the All-Ireland and European Championships. The band returned to the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall for the “pre worlds concert” this time entitled Evolution. The concert sold out for only the third time in its history. Most notably however, three days later the band won the most prestigious prize in the pipe band world, winning the World Pipe Band Championships. It marked the first time in over 10 years that a band other than Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band, Simon Fraser University Pipe Band, or the House of Edgar Shotts and Dykehead won the title.
