Famous quotes containing the words holy and/or lands:
“Is this a holy thing to see
In a rich and fruitful land,
Babes reduced to misery,
Fed with cold and usurous hand?”
—William Blake (1757–1827)
“This is my home, the country where my heart is;
Here are my hopes, my dreams, my holy shrine;
But other hearts in other lands are beating
With hopes and dreams as true and high as mine.”
—Lloyd Stone (b. 1912)
