Mulholland Dam Reinforced
Shortly after the disaster, many living below Mulholland Dam, which creates the Hollywood Reservoir, petitioned the City of Los Angeles to reinforce it. The dam, almost identical in shape and design to the St. Francis Dam, was reinforced by piling tons of earth and rock on its face.
