St. Francis Catholic Secondary School - Uniform

Uniform

The uniform is provided by R.J. McCarthy's. St. Francis has been known to have a stricter uniform policy in comparison to other schools. For example, St. Francis is one of the few schools where girls cannot wear the girls' dress pants and must wear the boys style pants. All dress shirts and cardigans are emblazoned with the "SF" St. Francis logo. The uniform options consist of a short sleeved or long sleeved Oxford shirt, a sweater, sweatshirt or vest (to be worn from Thanksgiving to Easter), and grey dress pants or kilt. In recent years, Grade 12 students have had the option of wearing the "Grad Hoodie" instead of the sweater.

Famous quotes containing the word uniform:

We know, Mr. Weller—we, who are men of the world—that a good uniform must work its way with the women, sooner or later.

The Federal Constitution has stood the test of more than a hundred years in supplying the powers that have been needed to make the Central Government as strong as it ought to be, and with this movement toward uniform legislation and agreements between the States I do not see why the Constitution may not serve our people always.
    William Howard Taft (1857–1930)

We call ourselves a free nation, and yet we let ourselves be told what cabs we can and can’t take by a man at a hotel door, simply because he has a drum major’s uniform on.
