Old Boys
The Old Boys of St. Benedict's College play a huge role in the affairs and ventures of the college. All the past pupils who have passed through the gates of the school have always wanted to 'give back' to their alma mater. The Loyal Old Bens have been instrumental in all the projects, functions and special events of the college, by participating in them and sharing their experiences and thoughts. The Old Boys have set up many support bodies to help the college in every way possible. Old Boys Union is the main past pupils association while Welfare Society, Old Bens Sports Club and the Development Fund are the subsidiary units.

Famous quotes containing the word boys:
“The boys dressed themselves, hid their accoutrements, and went off grieving that there were no outlaws any more, and wondering what modern civilization could claim to have done to compensate for their loss. They said they would rather be outlaws a year in Sherwood Forest than President of the United States forever.”
—Mark Twain [Samuel Langhorne Clemens] (18351910)
“We have dancing ... from soon after sundown until a few minutes after nine oclock.... Occasionally the boys who play the female partners in the dances exercise their ingenuity in dressing to look as girlish as possible. In the absence of lady duds they use leaves, and the leaf-clad beauties often look very pretty and always odd enough.”
—Rutherford Birchard Hayes (18221893)
