St Andrew's Primary School is a primary school located in Soham, Cambridgeshire, England. It is twinned with the local parish church of the same name.
St. Andrew's CE Primary School was established in September 1990 following the amalgamation of Soham CE Junior, Soham County Junior and Soham County infants school to form two new Primary Schools. The modern building stands in open grounds next to Soham Village College.
The majority of pupils leaving the school move on to Soham Village College.
Murder victims Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman were pupils at the school at the time of their deaths in August 2002. Maxine Carr, a learning support assistant at St Andrew's, was found guilty of perverting the course of justice and jailed for three-and-a-half years for providing a false alibi for Ian Huntley, the caretaker of the local secondary school and her casual partner, having abducted and murdered the girls. Carr was released within five months of the trial with a new identity, as she had already spent 16 months on remand; Huntley was jailed for life.
