Boxing
Sheffield has enjoyed huge success in boxing mainly due to the Wincobank gym run by Brendan Ingle. During the 1990s several world champions were produced including Naseem Hamed, Herol 'Bomber' Graham and Paul "Silky" Jones. Current IBF Light Heavyweight World Champion Clinton Woods and WBO Cruiserweight Johnny Nelson also come from the city.
