The Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) organises boxing matches in Pakistan. The Pakistan Amateur Boxing Federation (PABF) organises amateur matches. Pakistan has seen success at amateur level boxing, despite lack of necessary equipment and facilities. They have won medals at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. Quetta born Haider Ali won gold at the 2002 Commonwealth Games as a Featherweight and went on to become a professional boxer. Umar Khan is a member of the Pakistan Boxing Federation. He is also a member of Pakistan under-19 team and has won different titles against Malaysia and the Philippines. He is currently the captain of Under-19 team. He has won 13 gold and 10 silver medals at international level.
