Rebranded
As the audience found that there was "no need to set another MediaCorp TV Channel 5" on 3 March 2002 SPH MediaWorks TV Works was renamed as "SPH MediaWorks Channel i" began since 2001 targeting a younger audience. After being re-branded, the standard of the channel improved as demonstrated by its news programme winning the Asian Television Awards was established form 2003 and 2004.
