Famous quotes containing the words spend, night and/or brothers:

The only way to spend New Year’s Eve is either quietly with friends or in a brothel. Otherwise when the evening ends and people pair off, someone is bound to be left in tears.
    —W.H. (Wystan Hugh)

As long as skies are blue, and fields are green
Evening must usher night, night urge the morrow,
Month follow month with woe, and year wake year to sorrow
    Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792–1822)

It always seems to the brothers and the father that their brother or son didn’t marry the right person.
    Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (1860–1904)
