Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle - Overview

Overview

The light-blue vehicle has ten sets of wheels (six sets over the front, middle and rear axles which are double) and an auxiliary traction system of hydraulically lowered caterpillar tracks at the rear. It is about the size of a camper. The driver and passengers are seated facing backwards to reduce the effect of impact in the event of a collision, and each has a large video monitor displaying the road ahead and behind. A co-driver has identical driving controls available, but normally mans the weaponry systems, which include a front-mounted cannon that is housed underneath a foldaway panel. The SPV has ejector seats and jet packs for the crew's use. SPVs are distributed around the world and are housed in disguised structures. Spectrum agents can obtain access to an SPV upon showing their identification. SPVs are used as the next level vehicle following the Spectrum Saloon Car (SSV). SPVs have been used in cities as well as in rough environments like the desert, tundra, etc. Its armor is bullet-proof and the SPV serves as Spectrum's primary armored assault vehicle. It may max speeds over 200 mph.
