SUAS has been represented at the RAF and Inter Service Climbing Championships, in both instances winning the guest categories.
The squadron also competes in inter-UAS competitions and occasionally provide an RAF presence at major sporting fixtures. The SUAS male 7s team has come 3rd for the past 2 years at the annual Cranwell 7s Tournament (the largest sporting tournament in the RAF).
