Sonic Eraser - Gameplay Modes

Gameplay Modes

The game offers four unique modes of gameplay. Normal Mode is an "endless mode" where you Play for points as long as you like. The better the player performs, the higher his or her level will rise and the speed at which clusters fall increases. Doubt Mode is the same as normal mode except that white squares will never fall. Instead, a single shape from almost every cluster will turn into a white square when it hits the ground. Round Mode is a puzzle mode consisting of ten stages. Each stage has a bunch of swirl shapes interspersed with other normal shapes. Just like the other shapes, the swirls disappear when paired.

The object is to clear them all from the play field by eliminating the shapes between them under the time limit. Lastly is Block Mode, which has clusters stand on-end, allowing for massive chain reactions.

Famous quotes containing the word modes:

Without any extraordinary effort of genius, I have discovered that nature was the same three thousand years ago as at present; that men were but men then as well as now; that modes and customs vary often, but that human nature is always the same. And I can no more suppose, that men were better, braver, or wiser, fifteen hundred or three thousand years ago, than I can suppose that the animals or vegetables were better than they are now.
Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl Chesterfield (1694–1773)
