Songs From The Mirror - Cover Art

Cover Art

Songs from the Mirror is the only regular Fish album not to be designed by Mark Wilkinson. Fish had deliberately decided to not use Wilkinson, as he didn't want to give the impression it was an album with original material. Instead, he chose the "The Guddler" by Scottish painter Keith McIntyre as the cover. "The Guddler" had also been the working title of the project.

Famous quotes containing the words cover and/or art:

I wouldn’t pray just for a old man that’s dead because he’s all right. If I was to pray, I’d pray for the folks that’s alive and don’t know which way to turn. Grampa here, he ain’t got no more trouble like that. He’s got his job all cut out for him. So cover him up and let him get to it.
    Nunnally Johnson (1897–1977)

All art constantly aspires towards the condition of music.
    Walter Pater (1839–1894)
